Heartstopper Comics By Alice Osemam

When Charlie, the only gay kid in school meets Nick, they immediately become friends. Charlie is drawn to Nick, who is a Rugby player and straight as far as Charlie and his friends know . Is Charlie preparing himself for a heartbreak by falling for a straight guy?
My rating 4/5
Well this was the most adorable thing I have ever read. I had only ordered volume 1, a mistake that you should steer clear of if you are planning to read this.
I ended up reading volume 2 on webtoons app but upon realising that there are some extras included in the published version I got an ebook for volume 3. I just couldn’t wait.
As I have mentioned ,this is so freaking cute. Nick and Charlie are everything and you just can’t get enough of them.
This series of graphic novels also deals with serious issues like bullying and coming to terms with your sexuality.
And the Volume 4 is going to delve into eating disorders as well. But everyone is generally supportive about these things in the story and people who are not are dealt with which makes it a really educative yet a feel good comic.
Having said all that, I also think that these comics are more suitable for a younger audience as I expected a lot more from the story as the premise and the issues it deals with is brilliant
