A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Mass

I finished reading the second installment – A court of Mist and Fury in Acotar series last week.

Now what I need you to understand is that it is very difficult for me to review this book.
Because it was too overwhelming , and the way I feel about it can hardly expressed in so many words.

But I would give it a try for the sake of it.

So this book takes place a few months post Amarantha. I dont want to get into the story but I would just say this. We start with a broken shell of Feyre dealing with the aftermath of what she has done to save Pyrythian, but we end up with a Feyre Archeron who is even more fierce , strong and badass than she has ever been.

The story follows a series of twists and turns. Again it has an aura of mystery along with Illyrian wings, blades and all the Winnowing. I couldn’t help but swoon over everything I read in the book.

The characters are beautiful and I absolutely adored the whole of court of dreams and Rhys’s inner circle. Az, Cassian Mor Amren are basically goals. And Rhys himself, I think I have a new favorite character now. I definitely enjoyed the Night court more than the Spring Court in book one.

And I hated Tamlin in this book. You see it’s not just that he trapped Feyre, it’s everything else he did too. I am not even going to try to understand his reasons this time.To me what he did is the absolute worst and no one deserves that.

Which is why I love Rhysand even more .Even after realising the truth, he always made sure Feyre had a choice.

Well this has turn more into a rant than review at this point ,but dear reader you were already warned about my ability to sanely do that.

I would just go ahead and even say that this is the first book that engaged me so much after Harry Potter and I would definitely recommend it.

My rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
